Besides more traditional projects, psb has developed a new Design + Construction division of energy-efficient buildings and homes which aims to support customers wishing to renovate (EnerPhit) or build new in compliance with energy efficiency standards (LEED, Novoclimat, Passive House).

Our support starts from land prospecting through architectural design to energy modeling. Since each project is unique, we compose the team accordingly and ensure at each stage of the project that the budget and performance targets are met.

Norra Hem is a single-family home project PHI Low Energy inspired by nature and designed towards sustainability and comfort.

Next in the line for a construction happening spring 2021, this 2 split-level-home of 2,800 square feet is inspired by Nordic and Japanese design and aims for a 30kWh per year per square meter.

Optimize your building energy balance with a unique set of zero energy design principles

We design buildings balancing passive (such as solar gain, sun shading, thermal insulation) and active measures (such as heat pump, photovoltaic panels) to reduce energy consumption and increase occupant comfort.

Our understanding and knowledge of available materials combined with our Energy performance model toolset provide the flexibility to design and build meeting the perfect balance between performance and budget.
